Update 77: Oil Spill Update
September 28, 2008
Dear Friends,
As pundits continue to argue over who performed best during Friday’s debate, two winners are obvious—the State of Mississippi and Ole Miss. In a night when all eyes were on the Magnolia State, we delivered a first class event at a first class setting. Chancellor Robert Khayat and company deserve a lot of credit for all their hard work and all Mississippians should take great pride in the way our State performed on this historic night.
Ole Miss kept the hits coming on Saturday by knocking off the Florida Gators. Talk about taking advantage of the national stage.
Insurance Committee Hearing on Tuesday
Please make every effort to attend the House Insurance Committee’s public hearing on housing. Attendees will have an opportunity to make comments on insurance related issues following several brief presentations.
The hearing will be at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. I hope to see you there.
